Time to Go Shopping!

Hello! My name is Lisa. Today, I am at the supermarket. I have a shopping list. I need to buy some food for my family.

First, I need some fruit. I need three apples and two bananas. I also need some oranges. Apples and bananas are countable nouns. I can count them: one apple, two apples.

Next, I need some vegetables. I need some carrots and some potatoes. I also need some lettuce. Lettuce is uncountable. I cannot count lettuce. I can say "a head of lettuce" or "some lettuce."

Then, I go to the dairy section. I need some milk and some cheese. Milk and cheese are uncountable nouns. I can say "a carton of milk" or "a slice of cheese."

Finally, I need some bread. Bread is also uncountable. I can say "a loaf of bread" or "some bread." I also need some eggs. Eggs are countable.

My shopping cart is full! I am ready to go home and cook a delicious meal for my family.
