Hello! I am a scientist. Today, I am talking about facts and general truths. These are things that always happen under certain conditions.
If you heat water to 100 degrees Celsius, it boils. This is a scientific fact. If you cool water to 0 degrees Celsius, it freezes. This is also a fact. Water is amazing!
If plants don't get enough sunlight, they die. This is true for almost all plants. If you mix blue and yellow, you get green. This is a fact about colors.
If people don't eat, they get hungry. If they don't drink, they get thirsty. These are general truths about human needs. If you touch fire, you get burned. This is a warning, and it is always true.
If I am tired, I go to bed early. If I am happy, I smile. These are personal truths. The Zero Conditional is very useful to talk about these things. It helps us understand how the world works.
