Catching Up with Friends

Hello! I am Lisa. Yesterday, I met my friends, Tom and Maria, at a cafe. We talked about many things. It was a fun afternoon.

Tom said that he was very busy with work. He told me that he had a big project. He also said that he would finish it next week. I asked him if he was tired. He replied that he was a little tired, but he was happy.

Maria told me that she was going on holiday next month. She said that she was going to Spain. I asked her where she would stay. She replied that she hadn't decided yet. She also said that she wanted to visit Barcelona.

I told them that I was learning a new language. They asked me what language I was learning. I said that I was learning Japanese. They were very surprised! I asked them if they wanted to learn it too. They said maybe later.

It is always good to catch up with friends and hear their news. We promised to meet again soon.
