The Stormy Night

Hello! I am Lisa. Yesterday evening was very busy. I was at home, and it was raining heavily outside.

While I was reading a book, my cat, Luna, was playing with a ball of yarn. Suddenly, the lights went out! I was a little scared. I didn't know what to do.

My phone was charging in the kitchen when the power cut. I walked carefully to the kitchen in the dark. While I was looking for my phone, I tripped over something. Oh no! It was Luna's toy.

Luckily, I found my phone. I called my brother, Tom. He was driving home from work. He said he would be home soon. While I was waiting for him, I lit some candles. The house was dark, but the candles made it feel cozy.

When Tom arrived, he fixed the problem quickly. He is very good with electricity. We were both tired, but we were happy the power was back. It was an eventful evening!
