Grammar Focus: Zero and First Conditionals
Conditional sentences have an if clause (the condition) and a main clause (the result).
- Zero Conditional — general truths and facts that are always true. Form: If + Present Simple, Present Simple. If a robot teacher is present, it assists human teachers.
- First Conditional — possible future situations and their likely results. Form: If + Present Simple, will + base verb (or modals like can/might). If a student learns slowly, the robot will adapt its methods.
