Grammar Focus: Passive Voice (Present & Past Simple)
The passive voice focuses on the action or object rather than who does it. The agent is often unknown or less important.
Form:
- Present Simple Passive: object + am/is/are + past participle (V3): The story is told from Mark's perspective.
- Past Simple Passive: object + was/were + past participle (V3): "The Martian" was written by Andy Weir.
