Grammar Focus: Present Simple vs. Present Continuous
- Present Simple — habits, routines, facts, permanent situations. Active Life Gym offers state-of-the-art equipment. Members use them daily. Time words: always, usually, often, every day, on Mondays. Verb: base form (add -s for he/she/it).
- Present Continuous — actions happening now, temporary situations, future arrangements. They are currently teaching a new HIIT class. What class are you joining today? Time words: now, right now, at the moment, currently, today. Verb: am/is/are + verb-ing.
