Grammar Focus: Present Perfect Simple
We use the Present Perfect for actions that started in the past and continue to the present, or that happened at an unspecified time but connect to now. Form: have/has + past participle (V3).
Key uses:
- Experiences (often ever/never): They have never known a world without connectivity.
- Changes over time: Technology has changed our lives dramatically.
- Unfinished actions (for/since): Many have used social media since its early days.
- Recent actions with a present result: Each generation has contributed to the digital landscape.
